    OK lads, this game is on Grass, so you'll need Football Boots.

    Kick off time is 5.30, and the location is Kilmore Close. It's a Dublin City Council pitch. It's on the North Side, in Coolock.

    Just another thing lads, it's not a friendly game. It's a memorial game for a team mate of Beechlawn Rovers to mark the first anniversary of his death.

    googlemaps.com
    take a screenshot of the location in map format, not satellite, zoomed out far enough so we can see the main recognisable roads...landmarks etc. then just put a x on the pitch in MS Paint and throw it up here

    Good spirit to the game even if it was tough going.
    I only realised afterwards why it was all done so that was a nice touch.

    Anyways 11-a-side grass with offside is a completely different game to 11-a-side astro with no offside so wouldnt look too much into it tbh.

    It was obvious some of you didn't know about the idea behind the game - kicking off when the ref blew the whistle for the start of the minute's silence :D . Can't believe you lot don't play offside in the astro league :eek: - any reason why :confused:

    BTW just for the record - I was no. 14, the one bagging a brace :cool: :p

    ROFL! A comedy classic :o:o:o

    Dunno why they dont do offside in Astro, spose the referees are iffy enough as it is. Would probably be a good move though.
