Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have tried mp3gain but it's not reliable. Any suggestions, preferably free/cheap?

I'd be interested in this too.... I hear mp3 gain is very good, so not sure if anything better is out there...

What is it that you are trying to do exactly?

Just trying to normalise all my mp3s so they are at similar 'loudness' for djing with. Mp3gain seems to work in that it shows all the different levels and lets me select and apply a uniform decibel but some still sound way lower or higher than others.

I'd be interested in an answer to this as well, i use mp3gain for the last few years and as mentioned its kinda kack as some mp3's still sound louder the the rest.

I use Nero Wave Editor for cutting mp3s etc but it also has a volume increase option.
I've always had good results with it but it only works one file at a time and may not offer the detailed functionality you require. :)
