Issues setting up O2 broadband on my PC

Hi folks, I can set up O2 broadband no probs on my laptop.....but when I try and setup the modem on my WINXP pc, the computer crashes or I lose broadband after 20 mins, due to RPC error.Anyone else encountering similar problems I would like to hear bout them? James
