    Wilkwommen, fáilte agus bienvenue. there's a great buzz on the forum and the sarcasm, as you will already have noticed, flies quite a lot more freely than mods on other fora allow, great craic round here...that said, I still haven't been to a Limerick Boards Beers???

    one due anytime soon..mods??

    Yeah that would be brill thanks. Ive booked a place in Brookfield Apts, Castletroy maybe you could tell me what kind of facilities the area has re. shops, pubs the usual. Cheers

    Castletroy is a fairly good spot. Theres a shopping centre out there which has all the core shops you'd need (Supermarket, pharmacy, music store, clothes stores etc). A number of Pubs:

    The Hurlers: Quite a popular student spot, very busy on weekends.
    The Mill (Annacotty): About 15 mins walk from castletroy, great bar.
    Synotts( Annacotty) : Same as above, pretty quiet though even on weekends.

    Also a lot of takeaway business out there e.g Dominos, Chinese, Indian etc..
