Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The screen on my nokia 6131 won't work.
Can anyone with this type of phone let me know the steps I'd have to take to enable bluetooth without being able to see the screen e.g. press main/centre button, press left button, press main button, press down buton, etc. (probably be similar to other nokias). I need to download my contacts on to my computer.

    Thanks,
    Dave.

Hi dave, prob the best way to do it would be just connect to nokia suite via usb cable. Then you just select back-up. Afaik to send ur contact over bluetooth would require you to send them indivually

He can do the same thing via bluetooth as you suggest with the cable - the process is going to be a lot more difficult though as he has to go through pairing etc.

Not to mention that he could have moved icons around, he might have it as a list rather than a grid etc.

Got that sorted in the end (well sort of); turned on bluetooth (see bleow), connected to the PC and and used the nokia suite to get my contact details - problem was most of contacts are on my sim and the nokia suite can't see them! Got he details I needed by trailing through the text messages though.

If anyone has a similar problem, I got the sequence of kepad buttons to press from an interactive phone demo at http://nds2.nokia.com/tutorials/support/global/phones/6131/english/index.html . Came in handy when I had to turn off the alaRm as well; although it dod take a little bit of guesswork.

For turning on bluetooth do the following:
Menu (main button) , then press 4 , then press 8, then press 1, and finally 1 once more.
