i know theres talk about this scatered around in a couple of other threads, but i thought i would collect them all here...
where the **** can u go on JC night????
I cant think of any place that is legal for under 18 wer u can still have fun...:p
any ideas???

Most people in my school will be going to some disco, but I went to one in first year and swore never again-The pretentious people,the ****e music,never again!

I remember reading one of the Sunday Papers last year where some reporter went undercover in the Point or somewhere where it held a JC night, something like 5000 people went! I wouldn't let my child (if i had one) go to it! MY GOD you should of seen the pics. I know we were all young once but these pics were all chav's mashed outta there eyeballs having sex with randomers ... they only looked about 12. Also another pic of a girl resisting arrest,,,funny stuff but embarrassing all the same for the girls family!

My advice is if your going to drink, take it handy ... always better to know what ya did the next day A meal with friends is cool too.

I don't think I'd do anything special. It just seems like another reason to stay out for an extra few hours. : | I'd say going out on the night that you finished the actual Junior Cert. tests would be more appropriate, but I still wouldn't want to go out then. XD I'm more of an 'in-doorsey' type, anyway.

Yah they did the same thing down here in Cork. A news reporter from the radio station RedFm dressed up as a 15 year old and went to the savoy disco which was on, on junior cert night. If anybody listens to Cork Talks back with Victor Barry you might remember it. Victor rang her up on numerous occasions and she gave the low-down of what was happening.

People having fights with broken vodka bottles, tinkers doing it with their knacker boyfriends on the street and one guy attacked a homeless guy which I thought was lousy and bad:mad: . Oh yah, she got felt up by numerous guys in the disco.

And, well egyhos I imagine it all depends on how fun these outside-school friends are. Obviously it might seem a little odd if you're out celebrating with your school friends and you bring people they don't know, especially if they haven't done their JC, but I'm sure it's possible if they're friendly enough that nobody would care!

Piste is a brand of clothes (hoodies and t-shirts) with a sorta vague skiing theme, I used to wear this red piste hoody ALL the time when I was about 12-14 and so I used the name on internet things.

Lots of people think it's an alcohol reference though

My Dad owns 2 pubs and always and I mean always ask young people for ID. If they dont he tells them to **** off and out the door with them! Well he was in the gardai for 20 years so he would have to obey the law.... wouldnt he???:rolleyes:
