Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Streaming problem

    I have a few different programs that I use to watch football online (Sopcast, TVAnts, TVUPlayer, Windows Media Player etc.) but of them I can only get Windows Media Player to work to any satisfaction. The others take ages to buffer or else just don't play when they eventually load.
    It severely limits my choice of what games I can watch as I can only watch the ones that have a link to to Media Player.
    Admittedly my broadband connection is not the best (skyDSL) and whenever I choose to watch a game it is usually at a time that skyDSL usage is usually heavy (8pm to 10pm) but I am still wondering if there is anything somebody can suggest? Thanks.

    By the sounds of it the only options would be either watch the games at a different time of day or else get a different broadband provider. It does sound like the only problem you are having is to do with the download speed and contention from other users.

    Probably contention alright but I dunno why Media Player is OK but not the others.
