Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

if that ^^ doesnt work, what i did was get cerumol over the counter from the chemist. use that for 3 or 4 days then go to a nurse to get your ears syringed. the difference is unreal, afterwards i was getting p*ssed off at my flatmates for constantly shouting when they were just talking normally :p

otex are ear drops..d best ever beter than cerumol or audiclean..i tink..you get them in northern ireland dont tink its available in the chemists down here yet unfortunatly..you should use that and then go to a specialist..they have a great machine that literally in seconds clears al the wax out..but you should use the drops first before you go for a while so the wax is earier taken out if/whan you get to a specialist...;)good luck and enjoy hearing the grass grow from now on..and dont forget to start a routine of putting it in once a month afterwards to prevent build up again!

I've had problems with wax build up in both ears for 7 or 8 years now. Apparently ears usually clear themselves out but mine are abnormally shaped (on the inside) and can't do that.
So every 6 months or so they get all muffled and I have to get them syringed.
I use some drops called Waxol which are supposed to clear out the ear, similar to Audiclean or other sprays and drops. I was told by one doctor to use the drops once a week and by another doctor that they don't work and there's no point using them.
Anyway I'm still in there every 6 months or so with the water pumping into my ear.
One doctor told me that he likes syringing ears because it's the most instant gratification you can get! It's true though. You go in there all muffled up and feeling miserable and 5 minutes later you can hear everything so clearly. It's the best feeling.
If anyone has any better solutions though I'd love to hear them.
