Need Advice On 3 Series Wheels

I Need Help!!

I am looking to buy alloys for a 3 series e36 but am lost because i just dont know which ones i like.
I dont want a boy racer look, and dont want to go mad on cash either.
I wouldnt dream of wolfrace or anything along those lines but have been looking at standard bmw alloys.
I dont mind either multispoke or normal wheels.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would try pick up a set of standard BMW alloys second hand... you'll probably get a good set with tires fairly cheap... as far as i know The E46 ones should fit it too... Just check that none of the are buckled with buying second hand..

You'll probbaly get decent enough alloys + good tires for way less than the cost of 4 tires...

Personally myself I think BMWs look nicest with original style alloy wheels be it OEM or replicas. Most other aftermarket type styles don't suit them imo.

Its really a question only you can answer as we all have individual tastes. I like the E36 M3 evo wheels in 17in the best. (See http://www.bmwcarclubireland.com/gallery/displayimage.php?album=76&pos=74. ). I think anything bigger looks naff. I also like the Alpina wheels.

I got 16inches on mine when I bought my E36, but then bought a set of second hand 15in rims for track days and actually left them on the car as then are smaller, narrower and therefore lighter. The car feels much faster up to to speed as a result, so try not to go too mad on the wheel sizes.

I was in recently getting the NCT done and there was a nice E36 328i in British racing green there as well with these rims: http://www.mavster.plus.com/bmw328is_5.jpg. Looked very nice.
