Pickup truck.

Does anyone know where I could buy a pickup truck for a cheap price. I'm not looking for anything fancy, but I have always had my heart set on a pickup, and now that I am able to drive, it is the vehicle I want.

Any advice on what model I should get? or where? Keeping in mind nothing fancy.

I'm presuming there expensive,my range would be lower if this is not the case. I would not mind a battered run down old thing to be quite honest.

many miles but they are bulletproof if you believe topgear they also made it to the north pole in a recent special.

I'd say the hilux would be the safest bet, what others are there? Ford Ranger, Defender pick up, L200, Nissan... damn I can't remember that one, and that Mazda wan. The 2.4 engine is also handy out.

€6000 wont get you much of a pickup truck, and the big engine will mean you a lot of road tax.

I dunno, Ive been looking at '96 4X4s on ebay going for fifteen hundred quid, lovely looking ones. Admittedly, not pickups, but in the same range.
And also the two seats means lower premiums.
