    i have been trying to buy this plasma,but i am having difficulty in locating dealers who stock pioneer models,can anyone help ? where are the home cinema suppliers of ireland hiding!are there any good retailers out there.:mad:

    Well this crowd do Pioneer , Sorry but I dont know any others , this is a good shop though , worth a visit , not your usual clueless school leavers.

    Hi,

    The 508 series are not available in Ireland yet. Current models is the 507XD. New models arriving sometime after september but most likely with a price increase from what i've been told.
    AV Import are the official distributors of Pioneer plasma in Ireland and they have a store locator on the website where you can find your nearest dealer
    and their websites.

    New models will have better contrast ratios and also better colours and deeper blacks but at a price. Will be one 1080p model in the range.

    I bought my Pio PDP-427XD from http://www.richersounds.ie/ in Belfast. Saved about €400 by buying it from them. I drove up and picked it up. Give them a shout to see when they're expecting stock of the new 8G plasmas.
