Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Does anyone know if the Nokia CK7 carkit integrates with car stereo speakers for output ? Looking at getting one but cannot stand those kit external speakers - want whatever kit I get to use my stereo speakers.

    Thanks

Any SE car kit (like the Sony Ericsson HCB-700 )can plug into the cars speakers using the HCE-26 Music Mute adapter.

Is that a Nokia compatible carkit, or just SE ?

The Sony Ericsson HCB-700 is a bluetooth car kit, so it is compatible with any phone so long as it has bluetooth

The CK-7W will work through your speakers for most cars. If you tell me the make / model I can find out for you

Was looking at getting one myself for a golf, you have to purchase an extra cable to integrate the kit with the car radio. they are called telemute leads, cost about €50 or so.

    quick google brought up this

If the stereo in your car is the factory fit Audi type then it can be integrated without any extra adaptors.

SE hcb 700 is not compatible with nokia phones..you will be able to pair the phone to the kit but it wont sync the contacts.
