    Have seen this done on other forums, a pain to get going but worth it imo.

    Replace

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! with !
    ?????????? with ?

    and all the variations.

    omg with I was most surprised
    txt with text
    l8r with later
    plz with please
    ffs with that is ludicrous my dear friend.

    etc etc etc.

    You get the idea. Leave yore ma out of it though, it's still funny, as
    will be seen by people responding to me mentioning it by hilarious retorts
    about my ma.

    not sure why you are being sarcastic when you seem to have a little trouble understanding the point.

    people can still use text speak but as if by magic it'll be translated to english..

    Text speak may be annoying in some ways in this day and age....but...
    Ya got to remember us 30+ somethings were around in the
    days of when it came to typing in manually atdt and the phone number
    and using dial up and it taking 20 minutes to download a single A4 sized .jpg
    horrible 9600bps modems and having text only interfaces before
    the days of GUI's and the likes of Mosaic.

    Back in those days we used acronym's similar to text speech.
    We posted in Plain text in under 80'characters per line or used
    Rott13 if posting was rude. Anyone that was on the internet
    in the first place knew what they were doing.

    Now everyone is surfing like crazy without necessary
    having the first clue about the web and computers.
