Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Simply question; will going from 1MB to 2MB on Eircom's packages improve my gaming experience? Will it reduce lag?

Well going up in speed will always help.
Check with Eircom for ping options. My provider has an option that I signed for where they guarantee me better ping times of up 10 ms.

You only ever used to need a minimum of 512 for Live when I first got it and I don't think that has changed. The ping times are the bigger issue than the bandwidth though which only effects how quickly you'd be able to download the demo's etc, playing the games does not use up a whole lot of your bandwidth but it does need to get their fast.

I'm in Germany but it's only €1.90 extra per month for the option.

Yeah, I saw your location as Hamburg – but thought it wasn't really where you were.

My ping is crap, normaly around 200-300ms. I wonder if there any any ways if bringing it down. I heard you can get a line tested for free if it's noisy – anyone had any good experiences doing this?
