Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Are there any slightly offbeat/non mainstream programmes on any of
the Irish local radio stations worth tuning into ?

The sort of thing I'm thinking of would be (for example.. a jazz hour
on some local radio station or an interesting slot a bit like Terry Dolan's
slot on anglo/hibernian words on Newstalk)

Hmm. Its hard to say, as a lot of local radio stations have really moved away from eclectic music tastes. I mean, its the community stations in Dublin that have the specialist music shows, rather than any of the big commercials, with the exception of Spin with some dance and Phantom. who have the rock genre programming, like metal, goth etc.

I'm sure Dick Duffin still does a Jazz/Easy show on Sunday nights at 9pm on LMFM, but I haven't listened to that station at that time for yonks, and don't know of any other local station that does.

The Indie hour on Anna Livia is a good 'ol show.
