Weather depending, I should break my "Dublin Picture Game" virginity tomorrow.:D

Unfortunately I didn't get out till 7.00pm tonight and well I couldn't take any photos because of the flash.

Hopefully (although it's suppose to be shocking all week) I might get a few during the week.

Good pics Gav, haven't a clue where any of them are, i suspect D8 again :)

Would love to know where 3 is, that fence and door just looks mad looking as if it was thrown up in a hurry! :D

Hmm, is 4 near Donore ave?..it looks like that statue in the church grounds there.

Why thank you gurramok and yes they all are in Dublin 8, didn't fancy walking any further today because of the oul weather.

And you're spot on with No.4 it is on the grounds of St Teresa's Parish Church, I thought that would have been one of the hardest.:o

I passed by no 4 today and I thought it would make a good pic for this thread. It's a school on Donore Ave, no idea what school it is though.
Congratulations on busting your pic posting cherry Gavin , you're a real addict now !!

Aw shot !! Pipped to the post by Gurramok....

Are you refering to the wooden fronted place next to it, that's actually a Youth Centre.

Also if you passed it today you should be able to get a few of the others.

I know the house in pic 7 so well. Used to pass it every day on my way to Griffith College. Haven't a breeze of the street though!

    All are wrong I'm afraid.

And Xavi6 that would be right that you passed it going to Griffth College. *hint*

I wouldn't like to see your difficult ones!

OK - like a lamb to the slaughter!

    1. Robert Street (near junction with Marrowbone Lane)?

    2. The Coombe?

    3. Weaver's Square?

    4.

    5.

    6. Eugene Street?

    7. St Kevin's Street Upper area?

**braces himself for the inevitable "all wrong" reply! :o**

Is no 1 the back of the old John Players cigarette factory on the SCR ?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,971 ✭✭✭✭GBX

Is 2 the junction of Donor Ave at Merton Avenue/Wosley St?
6: Harman Street? Ebeneezer Tce? Rutledge Tce?

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,965 ✭✭✭✭Gavin "shels"

    Wishbone Ash - All wrong.:D

the boss of me - Spot on with No.1, it's at the back of the old John Player and Bailey factory, picture taken from the gates on Donore Ave.

GBX - Yup No.2 is the junction at the top of Merton Ave/Wosley St. It's on the corner of Donore Ave where the road turns into Elford Tce (sp). No.6 though is wrong

So No.1, 2 and 4 are all gone.
