    All done!
    40 Tara St Fire station?
    No.
42 Georges st (Above Phillips shop)?
Yes. I think it used to be Burtons department store.
    43 Above Georges st arcade?
    No.
45 Hickeys across river from Heuston?
    Yes.
    47 Baggot st?
    Yes.
40 reminds me of the building on the west side of Jervis Street near the Fas Training Centre. (?)
Yes. I think its a car park surrounding an ESB substation. I thought there used to be electrical imagery on it, but I couldn't find any that day.
Is 48 Dame Street? The 3rd building from the left looks a bit like the upstairs of the lap dancing club there (Lapellos?) across from South Great Georges Street.
    Yes.

is 42 the top of Easons O'Connell St?
No, see above. Easons has a rather plain slate mansard roof (with dormers I think) which probably postdates its ppost-1916 reconstruction.

Yes - I was wondering whether to delete the "newsagents" sign. :)

    from the brdige, yes.
40 is the side of Jervis St, near the carpark.

I was thinking of the building where Supermacs is at the corner with Abbey Street. I can't for the life of me remember what was there beforehand!

Wasn't it an office where they sold photos that had appeared in the Evening Press?

Apologies Gavin, I made a mistake earlier. I thought that europerson had answered no. 6 when he had in fact given an answer to no. 9.

No. 6 is the Hugenot Cemetary on Merrion Row and not no. 9. Sincerest apologies! :o

I can't believe I haven't copped onto this already: 7 must be at the Law Society buildings, i.e., the former King's Hospital School. The current King's Hospital has a building called Gage Green Hall. I knew I had heard the name somewhere.

Spot on (Dame Street AFAIK). :)
Exchange Court (sometimes called Exchange Place - city hall was originally the Royal Exchange) is the 'laneway'. I think the 'square' was named Barnardo Square, named for Thomas Barnado, founder of Barnardos.
I don't think the RCSI have a premises here. Street name?
    67 Upper Stephen Street. :)http://www.dublinks.com/index.cfm/loc/6-1-7/pt/0/spid/75BB44AC-0DC8-4D54-AA181105AC87E9AA.htm

I was initially thinking Mercer street / York Street.
