Her of the Kozy Kitchen and Cafe Continental fame! :)

I'd only be guessing - Monck Place?

Ok Wish, go further up that street and you've got it. I did have a few drinks on me at the time i took the pic but i'm sure its on that other street a stones throw away as Rashers would say :)
There are several lanes that look similar to that around Dalymount. So I'm guessing St Peters Rd or Connaught St.
Not really in Phibsboro. Its off the NCR beside an area already mentioned in previous photos by a genius :D

My last guess - Phibsborough Place?

Hi all. Would 4. be the rere of Great Western Square with the old railway line to Broadstone over the long wall on the left? - I'm guessing there is or was a railway line or canal on the far side of the wall.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,992 ✭✭✭✭gurramok

There is a road on the other side of the wall now. Not sure of it's history. The street is beside Great Western Square.
You and Wish have named every street around it but the one in the pic!!

The pic was taken facing east if that helps :)

    Nortons Avenue?

(I'm presuming it's not one of the 'Avondales' as they have been done already).

    No.

Avondale Rd hasn't been done already, only Ave so far?

I give to you for perseverance :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 907 ✭✭✭Rashers

Ahh but is it within an asses roar of Nortons Avenue? :D

For 7 see below (although you were almost there!)

Spot on Gavin - the Children's Playground in the Green and the junction of York Street and Mercer Street. Well done! :)

Apologies for being a bit pedantic last night (the pitfalls of posting while drunk! :o). It's obvious that you were referring to Trinity College. Well done. :)

    6. (see above Victor).

    8. Railway cottages - I don't know for certain but I very much doubt it.

These are the two which remain. (I've just realised that I left a very prominent clue in number 8! :o)
