I'm afraid it is! :) (and much credit to Rashers for identifying the shop).

    Is 7 Langrishe Place?

9 is terribly familiar. I've read that lettering regularly, but I can't for the life of me remember where it is! :(

    2. Is in O'Connell Street - it's now one of those 'oirish' Carroll's shops.

    Is 9. off Pearse Street?

Would 6 be one of the car parks in St James Hospital..?

    Yup, well done. :)

    LangrishePlacePlaque

Is that plaque actually in Langrishe Place?

Reason I ask is I grew up in that neighbourhood, raced my 'trolley' down the hill in Langrishe Pl, but never noticed the plaque.

Yes, it's in Langrishe place on the left as you look north just beside the junction with Summerhill.

    I'd say it's fairly new.

I'm with you on this. I don't think we're a million miles off. I know that archway but them fecking new buildings are putting me off.

Well spotted des :) - it's an unnamed alley off Ely Place Upper.

(The white van in the distance would be on Pembroke Street Lower, I think, and the far laneway would be Winsor Place).

(Spot the nice classic Jag parked in there also!)

I only knowthat one because I went down that lane recently to take pictures for this thread - Better hold off on that photo for a while methinks.

I did see some nice cars behind the buildings, and was asked very politely by a chap in a suit what the hell I was doing hanging around there. I think he thought I was eyeing up the cars!

EDIT: BTW, Middle Abbey St for no. 9?

    No.

(Dub13 guessed that already and I can see where you both are coming from. It does look very like one of the car parks in St James's).

Ok folks - time for clues:

No. 6 is physically in Dublin 7 (AFAIK) but it's address is probably in Dublin 1. (That is a clue in a clue - I'll explain later :)). I don't have a wider image of it.

    N0. 9 in in Dublin 2:. Here's a wider image - I can't 'go down' for obvious reasons!
