We have a winner! I thought that would be the easiest one.

Picture taken from Dublinia during my day out on the open top bus tour - folks if you havent dont it yet, hang your head in shame! Great way to spend a day, and get some pics for this thread!
I did it once without getting off the bus, and once getting off at various points and then hopping back on.

Now I'm puzzled. I have it listed differently. Is it possible that Pembroke Cottages would be the next street where the cottages face onto?

No, but you're in the right area.

I don't think so - I just know the location of the church (not it's parish etc.)

Yes. :) I think it's officially part of the East Wall Road but few refer to it as that.

Both streets are Pembroke Cottages, they run side by side :)

PS - damn that York rd, i jumped the gun to the other street alongside eastlink! :)

Thanks for that - apologies for the mistake gurramok. I thought it was Cambridge Court as I thought I took this pic of the nameplate at the end of that lane. I must have got confused but then again, I'm a 'stranger in a strange land' out there! :)

    Afraid not des!

These 4 remain. I'm flummoxed that no. 1 hasn't gone yet. I thought it was one of the easiest! Notice the outlines of the shuttering pans. That's a serious amount of shuttering! Now very few buildings in Dublin have that amount of concrete.

If No. 1 is not the sewerage treatment plant, maybe due to the hint of the concrete walls, the ESB power station itself? :)

    Is 3 somewhere in Irishtown?

And 10 as Sean Moore park?

Afraid not! think of another major industrial type building in Dublin 4! ;)

Not really - it's as close to Ballsbridge as it is to Irishtown.

Yes, :) I'll give it to you. It's at the very end of the South Bank Road at the path to Sean Moore Park.

That's a building site now with no structures in place! ;)

I'm not really sure where Ringsend begins and ends but I certainly wouldn't refer to it as 'Ringsend'.

They were fast moving in the bulldozers, used to be laying vacant for years since closure :)

Can't believe I didn't spot Bolands Mills, i've crossed that bridge at Ringsend Rd literally thousands of times in my lifetime, /me hangs head in shame:eek:

Any hints for 2 & 3, perhaps which district? ;)
