Whereabouts is this? I can safely say I've never seen it.

It can't be seen from Meath Street as it's at the rear of the church. (It must be very close to Molyneaux Yard).

It seems to be here, between the courtyard at the back of the church and the derelict site behind.

    Try this one: http://www.mapchannels.com/DualMaps.aspx

Type in the street and city, click Find.

When the map comes up scroll down a little and click on Create (its to the left).

    Give it a go anyway.

Just noticed this now, St. Catherine's Church is actually the church on Thomas St. (the one Robert Emmet was murdered at), the name of the one on Meath St. escapes me at this moment.

The disused C of I church at the top of Bridgefoot Street is called St Catherines. The other church on Thomas Street is St Augustine's and St John's AFAIK.

I'm pretty sure the RC church on Meath Street is also called St Catherine's but I'll do a bit of a search.

Ye your right about the one on Thomas St being called St Augustine's and St John's. I'll ask my mam or dad tomorrow what the name of that church is, you could be right in St.Catherines thinking of it now.

OK folks, it's a 'lane' in Dublin 1. It's name is not generally known but I'd safely say that any of you who drive have been on it many times without realising it.

(It doesn't have a nameplate displayed either).
