(I posted Bethesda Place a few weeks ago from the opposite angle - i.e. facing inwards. I took that pic as a 'clue' as I didn't think anyone would get the other one. :))

    Two to go.

(I'll accept the nearest street for no. 4 as it appears to be unnamed in most maps/guides and doesn't have a nameplate either).

    4.

4 Is it not a lane off Mount St. Parrallel to Grattan Place, Clanwilliam Place and/or Love Lane

re Kildare St: I've walked by it so many times that I'm very familiar with that Alliance Francaise building.

    4:

I can't remember the exact name of that road but I know that it's the road between Dominick St Lower and Dominick Place/Granby Lane. I know Dominick Lane is the road visible in the pic on the opposite side of Dominick St so will guess it's also Dominick Lane - Grandmother lived in the block of flats just to left of where the photo was taken so thats how I know the location ;)

    7 "maser loves u"
I've passed that by somewhere - Is it Aungier St. by any chance?

9 looks to be the model for Grand Canal docks, you can see the square clearly.

8, maybe is the model for redevelopment at Guinness site?

    oh, 2 is cope street.

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,965 ✭✭✭✭Gavin "shels"

    2. Temple Bar or Cope St?
    4. Palace St?

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,995 ✭✭✭✭Wishbone Ash

    3 is Winetavern Street/St Michael's Hill.

Methinks that model must be in the DCC offices in Wood Quay.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,995 ✭✭✭✭Wishbone Ash

    4. Palace St?
I can't see how as there are only 2 addresses in Palace Street - the shortest street in Dublin.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,995 ✭✭✭✭Wishbone Ash

No. 7 is not unlike the old Lower Sheriff Street area.

4 is part of Dublin Castle, where buildings overlook onto the new "plaza" between City Hall and the desperate new office block built by council, stairs to which are visible in snap.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,241 ✭✭✭highdef

No. 5 is taken looking south into the "Italian Quarter" from the LUAS stop on Middle Abbey Street

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 380 ✭✭ODS

5 is Middle Abbey Street, looking south towards Wallace's mini Italy.

9 is an aerial view of Pearse Park and developments along the Grand Canal Basin... possibly snapped in civic offices, as I think another poster may have said... either there or in An Bord Pleanála on Marlborough St :pac:
