Doesn't that piece beside bernard shaw's have black writing on a beige background saying 'hard times'

re Kildare St: I've walked by it so many times that I'm very familiar with that Alliance Francaise building.

I can't remember the exact name of that road but I know that it's the road between Dominick St Lower and Dominick Place/Granby Lane. I know Dominick Lane is the road visible in the pic on the opposite side of Dominick St so will guess it's also Dominick Lane - Grandmother lived in the block of flats just to left of where the photo was taken so thats how I know the location

No. 7 is not unlike the old Lower Sheriff Street area.
