There used to be plant life visible up there when it was first built. Perhaps it was supposed to be a garden of some sort?

I never realised there were so many satellite dishes up there. AFAIK there are only a few apartments in it.

There is a plaque like 10 in Connolly, but the wall is wrong - is it Broadstone?

    3 - Longford Street / Johnson Place?

Is 9 the gate house to All Hallows on Grace Park Rd, Dublin 9?

  • Registered Users Posts: 2,808 ✭✭✭Ste.phen

There could well be one at all the stations, though I'm not familiar enough with the old rail companies to know if Pearse station was the same company, and would have a plaque?

I've definitely seen the same/similar plaque in Heuston, alright.

Nothing much passes you Victor! The wall appears wrong as I deliberately excluded the surrounding wall. It's on platform 4 in Connolly. Well done and credit to Ste.phen for almost getting it a few days ago. :)

I'll go for 9/10 Granby Row for number 3 (The other possible shelter has the plaque over the door)

9 looks like the building on Western Way that's been derelict for years, has a swivel chairs sign to the side. Not in D7 though. drat

*edit* That's the sign alright. It's in behind a house on Mountjoy St that's also derelict. I never understood why it was allowed be so derleict. Such a nice building.

Aah damnit, that's exactly where it is, it's at the back of a burned out georgian, beside the tae kwon do place.
There's a planning permission sign on it which i inspected once, think they wanted to knock the little buildings, build apartments at the back of the georgians, and renovate the georgians too

I've been sweating over that one. I took it but left it in the camera for weeks. When I uploaded it, I couldn't recall if it was Granby Row or Frederick Street North (running parallel to each other). Google didn't help much either as it appears that the Salvation Army is connected with both streets. :)

Just the old petrol dispenser remaining. It's a bit obscure I suppose, so I've thrown in a wider image.
