    thats beaver street then.
is that a development sign on the building?

  • Registered Users Posts: 78,404 ✭✭✭✭Victor

Thats between Foley Street and Railway Street I think. That would make it Beaver Street. I've never been there, but the first time I saw someone arrested was at the ripe old age of 18 on Railway Street, probably just at the corner of Beaver Street. The DTO journey planner made a really odd choice to walk the distance.

Anyway. This is either really easy or really hard.

Your first picture, with the yellow lines, is part of Wishbone's picture. :D
Should make it easier to identify.

Yup, Beaver Street. The picture on it is something to do with the Arts Council - don't know about the PP notice (I didn't read it).

    Thats a good clue.

Most people don't see it because they are looking at something else.

Correct. Opposite the Bank of Ireland.

I have no idea of the reasoning behind it. The laneway to the rear has a completely different name.

so when you said it was near the canal and you took the picture from the bank, you didn't actually mean the canal bank??????

This is up there with wishbones for taking the michael!!

I assumed a financial bank, but didn't realise there was a BOI opposite there. Looks like Victor caught us both out with that one.

Strangely, it was the cycle track and footpath that got it for me. :)

I've no pic ready, so someone else can fire away till I get one organised.
