Actually, thats a little ambiguous. I think fishable Street continues to Castle Street. :) One of those Dublinoddities.

Both of you are correct but, in fairness to Gavin, 'Christchurch Place' is on the name plate on the corner of the Bull & Castle.

Prior to the opening of Lord Edward Street, Fishamble Street continued along there up to Castle Street and continued into Werburg Street. The main thoroughfare east/west ran via Castle Street, Cork Hill past Newcomen's Bank and onto Dame Street.

(The poet Clarence Mangan was born at 3 Fishamble Street was beside the present pub there.)

    Yep that's the place.
They are supposed to generate an interest in voting in Europe. The reference escapes me.

It's not far from where I grew up, yet I didn't know it existed till yesterday.

I'm sure you're correct there! (Can't remember exact street but Shaw St sounds right)

    Anyone for number 2?

  • Registered Users Posts: 9,487 ✭✭✭banquo

Is 2 near that street with the word 'market' in it that's an extension of Dame St? Can't for the life of me remember the name.

I've also a feeling I passed it before walking between O'Connell St and Heuston... this will fester...

Yes, beside the Bus Depot. Think its a recording studio or a dance hall of some sort, it don't say on outside hence mysterious :)

Found it around page four so think I've a handful...

    Two name's in number one...
    3622210025_f08253122f_o.jpg
    No. 2
    3656515563_44237ddc1d.jpg
Street out of pic but runs up the lekt side of batsman for No. 3
    3657309342_3c367e5d99.jpg

And the Buiding's name will do for 4...
    3614048628_f60bc2bf63.jpg
And probably the trickiest of all is No. 5. It's in D.8 and the pic of police kissing might jog people's minds...
