You seem to get around and be in around my job a lot Mr wishbone, do you drive for work?

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,993 ✭✭✭✭Wishbone Ash

It's a fairly unusual terrace of houses as there is no vehicular access to it. Access on foot must be made under an archway of another property!

I drive buses and trucks on a part time basis but I am a full time Public Servant. 95% of my pics are taken on my days off (and I don't even live in the city!)

OK, like the diligent stripper, I'll reveal another layer. This is the archway where one gains access to the little terrace in question!

PS I've no more pics of it (unless I post a Google Earth one).

jasus, If I could only place that new development.
Is the front of the new development looking out onto northwall quay?

As far as I can recall that development doesn't front onto North Wall Quay as there is another street in between. It MAY front onto Sherriff Street but I'm not sure.

(I wasn't concentrating on that building at the time and the whole area is under development anyway so it's difficult to tell )

Here's a Google Earth image which contains the location in question. The GE images are a couple of years out of date so the new developments won't be there!

Unfortunately I have to go away for a couple of nights. Rather than leave the thread hanging, I've left the answer with a Mod of the Forum. Good Luck! :)

This picture appear on the front page of a newspaper some years ago.

Name the Street and an extra point if you can name the paper.
