No. 4 Ceannt's Fort Mt Brown

No. 5 St. Kevin's Grantham St
    Yes.

Hagar, your knowledge is unbelieveable especially since I edited some of the names to prevent 'Googling'. Well done. :D

PS re: No. 4 - You're in the right area. ;)

    Hagar re: No. 4.

Ceannt Fort (The residential area in Mount Brown) is in the area but it is possible that it derived it's name from the above. The plaque is in a much better know place! ;)

    No 4. Castle St perhaps.

I was born and bread and buttered in Maryland, Dublin 8, so I have a bit of local knowledge of the general area. I get lost when I see the new developments. The last time I saw Cork Street I was shocked and that was about 4 yrs ago.

I don't think there's a background like that viewable from anywhere on Castle St.

That's what made me think Mount Brown first. AFAIK there's a plaque to him in Castle Street but it might be wall mounted.

That must be one of the old buildings in James' Hospital so, he did command the garrison there in 1916, South Dublin Union as it was called then.

Spot on. It's in the little copse of trees near the entrance. Well done. :)
