No. 2 looks like Broombridge, then again scratch that... it could be that bridge at Killeen Rd, Ballyfermot, both look similar!

Don't think 3 answer is right.

Look at the tall pipe thingys in the background plus there is near low level housing over that old stoney wall blocking the view from there.

I suspect its somewhere in D8, don't hold me to it though :D

I'm pretty sure those are the apartments opposite where the royal oak pub use to be. That stone wall is the boundary of the houses which now occupy the old tolka pitch n putt course. In the background we have the new aparts being built beside the other new ones already in premier square, previously premier dairies.

The pic was taken at the bottom of the ballyboggin road where it meets the finglas road.

Ah yeh, i can see it now, Tolka vale on the left and the boardings for the Royal Oak on the right.
That pic looks deceiving and small but your eagle eyed. What is that behind the tree though, those tall chimney type things on 'top' of the brown brick apts in Premier?..its those that put me off!

Depending when the pic was taken.......

If fairly recent it's a crane, if a few months old its a pile driver. Where the aparts are built pile foundations are needed, which requires piling rigs (basically big drill bits). They had a couple of rigs on site during the foundation stage.

It looks to me like a crane though. Below is a pile rig.

I have to thank Hagar as my brain was focused on Inchicore/Kilmainham.

It was only when he mentioned Grangegorman, that the proverbial penny dropped!

    Thanks Hagar! :D

a bit strange guessing on my own pic but I'd say it's probably santry lane.

LOL, I just went to the web address associated with the pic and see a list of projects with pics, Shanganagh listed as one.

very naughty Mr wishbone. I still reckon it could be santry lane though.

(of course I only spotted what you done when I tried to do the same thing myself)
