Don't tell me it's the old Good Year building on Hanover St ?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,992 ✭✭✭✭gurramok

Not sure what that building is, but yes its Hanover st, around the corner from Creighton st!

    Well done :)

The old Good Year (tyres) building was on the corner of Lime St and Hanover St.

Now here's the embarrassing bit :o, I worked in that building for two weeks back in the eighties. There's nothing like the smell of new tyres.

I don't have any pics at the moment , anyone else got some ?

I would have honestly got all 8 of gurramok's. Do you live around the area (pearse st/ringsend)?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 13,992 ✭✭✭✭gurramok

I don't 'live' there though i do live there after many nights out :D, my missus is from Ringsend and so are most of my own extended family so yeh, i'm familiar with most of the south east city.

Surprised no-one(bar eirebhoy's absence) got the main street of Ringsend though:eek:

I wouldn't have got that in a million years, but then again, I don't think I've ever been in Ringsend! :o

It's not my turn but I'm sure no one will mind me posting another few. :)

A nice little mixed bag here folks. :D

I'd prefer to let her think she's right :)

I't would be a funny thread if I had posted all the other (often, really bad( suggestions she has made in past.

    Cheers,
    Peter

I just knew you'd come along and spoil it Bendi! Very impressive - Well done. :D

(It wouldn't be a church that would be that well known except for us that frequent the fruit market now and then :))

Here's an unedited pic taken from St Michan's Park.

Or the Special Criminal Court :p

Actually I lived on Church St beside the hole in the ground in pic 2 for many years. So I know the streets around that part of town. Although things change fast around there! But I should know more of the current batch of pics!

Just this one remaining. Like in previous occasions, the one that I had thought would be the easiest turns out to be the most difficult.
