No. 3 is the primary school in Stoneybatter I think, think it's on Manor St, or else on Stoneybatter itself.

No. 6 is Foster Place next to Bank of Ireland on College Green.

    No. 7 Prussia Street?

3 is the entrance to Stanhope Street convent and schools.

Is 4 in the Ranelagh/Rathmines area near the Luas line?

9 is the lane opposite Leinster House on Kildare St, can't remember the name of it.

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,260 ✭✭✭jdivision

    9. is Rutland Place I think. The building to the right is distinctive in its mediocrity and if I'm right that's the gate in front.

Is 8 next to Garden of Remembrance?
The others are right afaik but have no idea of 2,4

Is 4 SS. Michael & John on Wood Quay?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,260 ✭✭✭jdivision

Wishbone, i checked google maps when Deans Court was suggested just to make sure it was right. Sometimes that street is called john Dillon Street but technically afaik it ends at the junction with the ruined little redbrick cottage. Haven't heard it called Lamb Alley like dancor suggested though

Long shot but Is 4 Dawson St by any chance?

This game is dangerously addictive, i find myself walking around looking at buildings a lot more closely these days!

Agree there :)...Yesterday i went for a walk wandering around D8 which i'm unfamiliar with, ended up in some not so nice areas and some nice areas i never seen before.

Some pics that were posted here i recognised in the flesh for the first time on my travels. Wishbone always posts his pics late evening/nite and i end up missing them as they do be all answered already by the time morning comes! :D

You have the Church name correct but it's on Lower Exchange Street (a few metres back from Essex Quay and near Wood Quay ;).

Unfortunately, I don't usually finish work until around 9pm and I don't have access to the net at work! I'd get nothing done if I did!

Yes, commonly referred to as Essex Quay or Wood Quay (see above).

    ESB sports grounds in Ringsend?

OK, I'll say somewhere near the Pigeon House, but I don't know exactly where. It commemorates the building of the power station.

This quick one is shamelessly stolen from another forum and posted in celebration of the fact that one of the hideous JC Decaux things has had planning permission refused for this location.
    Hurrah for democracy!
