You're going to give yourself a kicking when no. 4 is revealed. It's visible from a major traffic artery through Dublin 8 (not the angle in the pic though).

 Never knew their was a car park there. The amount of times I've stood at the bus stop there and nevered noticed it.

It's has already been identified and confirmed as Mespil Road!

Yes, well done :) - a nice former British (King George) postbox.

    9. Smithfield.

Arbour Hill - walked that way before and that postbox sticks out like a sore thumb!

In my limited knowledge of D8 :)

Do you mean physically or politically? If it's politically, former British post boxes are everywhere - VR, ER, and GR!

No. 3 is Blackpitts, just across from Scholars Pub.
No. 5 is Dean St, just opposite the funeral home.
No. 6 is Braithwaite St not sure if it's that road for definite.
No. 7 is Georges St/Aungier St, not really sure were each road finishes and starts.
    No. 10 is Ardee St.

  • Registered Users Posts: 706 ✭✭✭the boss of me

I'm looking for the name of the street - not the name of the flats.

I'd agree with Gavin , Braithwaite St.

Is no 9 Capel St ?

There's a big clue in the first pic, the one with the tree. A bit like the clue I left in my Mespil Rd pic ;)

I saw a guy taking photos at the top of Bridgefoot St this afternoon, don't suppose that was you Wisher, was it ?

Is No.1 Smithfield, near where you apply for your Learner Permit. What's this hint you speech off?

I'm afraid not - it was taken a few months ago!

It's weird all the same - anytime I see someone taking a pic (who are obviously not tourists) I'm thinking to myself is that a regular from the Dublin Picture Game!
