    9. I hope meat didn't grow here!

Makes sense now. The lane is Garden Lane, just at the back of Vicar St flats. The shop is Coyles Meat Wholesalers.

Was it just me Wishbone or is there no street plate, I cycled around the lane twice and didn't notice one? I got the name of planning permission board.:D

You weren't on Francis St taking photos today by any chance, across from Oxfam?

Don't know what number it is... but the one with people walking by... Is it Bull Allley.. just beside patricks Cathedral....

Number 14. not sure of name but just off Dorset Street, Behind the Mater Private.

Now that you mention it gavin, I recall checking a PP notice and then verifying it with a couple of Dublin Street Guides.

No, - too busy at work. I haven't been in for several weeks. By the way, those pictures were taken on the afternoon of Wednesday 6th February between 1pm and 2.30pm ;).

This one (No. 1) remains from my Dublin 8 pics:

Victor although I'm new"ish" to these parts this is the second time you've messed up this thread in a matter of days. The object is to wait until all the pictures are guessed correctly and then post your's, Wishbone Ash had still two unsolved when you posted your load.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 410 ✭✭flynnc8

This is a really cool thread... wanna be involved... Is there any unsolved pictures left? If not who's turn is it to post the next one?

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,965 ✭✭✭✭Gavin "shels"

Victors' pictures on the page before are still there with the excpetion of a few, just look at the posts after the pictures and see.;)

    1. Seasonal type of street!
And seeing as the registered office of Henry White is 15 South Summer Street - I think you are correct.

Spot on europerson! :D (Summer Street South off Marrowbone Lane).

    Gavin - you've been robbed! :) 9 out of 10 has to be a record though! :D

Victor's original set were in before me but he left 2 pics there for ages and didn't respond to any posts. This spoils the thread and as he hadn't answered within 3 days or so I decided to post a few.

Moral of story lads - if you are going to post pics, please ensure that you are able to check in regularly!

    Is No.3 Herbert Park?

  • Registered Users Posts: 17,965 ✭✭✭✭Gavin "shels"

No. 2 possibly Clyde Lane, next to Herbert Park?

  • Registered Users Posts: 78,415 ✭✭✭✭Victor

    2. Lansdowne Park, looking to Northumberland Road.
    3. Herbert Park
    4. Thorncastle Street flats looking to Grand Canal Dock.

  • Registered Users Posts: 24,993 ✭✭✭✭Wishbone Ash

No. 1 - is it the laneway off the South Dock Road (near Charlotte Quay)?

    No. 5 - Kirwin Street?

  • Registered Users Posts: 78,415 ✭✭✭✭Victor

7 Between Macken Street and Grand Canal Street?

Reminds me of that area too. Docklands/Ringsend area.

Victor's 3 all look right. I was thinking Pembroke Gardens on the other side of Nothumberland rd for number 2 but I think you're right. 7 does looks incredibly like "the villas" off Grand Canal st but I don't think it is.

I'm terrible at this game. Most people when they recognise the picture can tell where it is. I recognise the picture and it just wrecks my head.

    Sure is Gavin.

Damn you, what street do you do not know!..LOL :D
    No. 5 - Kirwin Street?

Nope, never heard of that street :)

No, not near... right side of river though.

    No's 5, 6, 7 left
