Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Early match seeing Liverpool with all the pressure, Vononin nearly in with about 25 seconds on the clock, Hyypia off with busted nose.

Yay Sissoko opens his Liverpool account. :):)

Poor miss from Torres. They should be 3/4 up.

Looks a walk in the park for Liverpool at the moment.

Edit: Torres should have buried that but he'll score before the end I bet.

Sunderland were really putting everything into the first 30mins, not sure how good an idea it was though, for the last 15mins its opened up much more, they just dont look capable of keeping that level of intensity up.

Could see the last 25/30mins of this game being All liverpool

Great save by Gordon so many times in la liga torres would be running like that then off in celebration.

    Goal by Voronin

By god what an boring game. There was a real difference in quality today, especially in midfield. Sunderlands midfielders were about 2 seconds behind Liverpools. That said, Liverpool were a long ball team for most of the game, with Torres working off scraps. Once they did get it down and pass the ball, they ripped Sunderland apart. Why they spent the game hoofing the ball up I'll never know.
Babel was very quiet, and bar some nice footwork in the first half, you wouldn't have noticed him off the pitch.
Torres is doing well, still adjusting, his pace is frightening though.

Gordon MOM was very impressive, did really well, although I do think Torres should have put that major chance away. While Gordon did very well, Torres and Voronin really should have scored, Voronin especially.

Oddly enough I think it's a pretty good result for both sides.

p.s. What a ****ing goal by Sissoko. Liverpool have now needed two moments of magic to win the away games so far, unless they start playing better, they are gona be dropping points, cause magic don't happen every week.

Scored more. How he didn't slot that in and not hit it directly at the keeper. Gordon did well, but he shouldn't have been given the chance to do well

True enough. Torres and Voronin should really have had 2 each alright. Still though, they both showed enough to make me optimistic. I could see that being a regular partnership. Torres with an assist and Voronin with a goal and an assist.

Pah! Another week of fantasy football planning down the drain. :(

Personally, I thought Liverpool looked a lot better today when Jamie Carragher went off. He seemed absolutely determined to launch the ball downfield every time he got it. With a player like Alonso in the team, he really should be feeding it into midfield more often.

Torres looked class today, if not as sharp as he should be. A couple more games, and he would have taken those chances, I'm very optimistic about him and Veronin.

I thought Liverpool did a very professional job today against a team determined not to lose. Great result away from home, a little worried about the injury to Carra.

Yeah it is a bit, I meant it like he really is taking after his father. Big Peter was renowned for doing that when Man U were behind going into the last few mins of games.
Man utd in the relegation zone.

When was the last time that happened I wonder, tomorrow really is a must win game for Man U now. With Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal all taking 3 points today, the pressure really is on now.
