Anyone grab Space Giraffe from the Marketplace?

I downloaded the demo, played tutorial and some of the demo levels for about 20 minutes in a dark room. Now I have a headache and I'm seeing spots.

The screen is too busy to see whats going on. I got tired of being hit by camoflaged bullets I couldn't see.

Its fantastic, bought it the mo it popped up on my XBLA screen, very nice indeed, at first it seems a common update of the uncommon Tempest 2000, but further play reveals new strategies, just keep at it, soon it will be 2nd nature, sure intense shooters are not for everyone, didn't we all die a lot during our 1st few hours with Robotron and Geometry Wars?

One of the important things to remember is that while the enemies crowd the screen, while the powerzone is up most of them are bonus fodder while you "bull" through them, the bullets also move slower too, just shoot them, me I hate those plant things growing up, feckers, but thats what the smart bomb and jump function are for!

I played the demo for about 15 mins but it gave me a bad headache. Fun but it's not easy on the eyes, don't think I'll be getting it!

I'll play again over the weekend. The game is pretty cheap, its fun (if not a bit cruel) and the sound is fantastic.

We need to feed Jeff Minter's habit, because he was on some serious sh1t when he wrote this.

It might be good, I dunno. I just wish it were actually possible to see what the hell was going on most of the time!

Jeff Minter wrote some weird crap on the Commodore 64 and Spectrum back in the day - generally involving Llamas, so I suppose a Giraffe is only a natural progression.

Don't think I'll get it - it's all a bit weird for me.
