Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why do you want to do that as a matter of interest?

I would presume that you will have to disable the onboard wireless otherwise the computer will be confused by the two installations.

Had you disabled the wireless prior to the installation of the usb?

i am trying to improve the signal to the vista machine by using a usb device with aerials attached. though i have the vista driver for the usb, i cannot install the rest of the software which is essential to its operation. i have disabled the onboard wireless but to no avail.

If it work similar to the wireless on xp, them the wireless connection is being controlled by the operating software's own monitoring software, zero configuration utility.

If you disable that in services, you should be able to get your own software to work.

That said the windows version is very good for most systems.
