Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    HELLO!

I got a Nokia 8910i from ebay. Works great really happy with it, but my friend let it drop and now the backlight doesnt work. Nokia service centres wont touch it cuz it wasnt bought in ireland and it doesnt have a IMEI sticker on the back under the battery. It shouldnt be that bigga job its just finnicky and the nokia ppl dont seem to want to take my money for its repair??

can anybody help or offer solutions? phoneexpo, phonecentre on dawson street and MRPC all turned me away!

That must be a blacklisted phone thats why they turned you away as theres no sticker or its a refurbished.

How could they know it was a blacklisted phone if they couldn't see the IMEI?

Why would the seller have needed to remove the IMEI sticker???? if the phone was legit ?

You can find out the imei without the sticker.

A different imei could have been cloned into the phone, without the sticker, even if you can read the imei, how do you know it is genuine.

Would you buy a car that had the chassis number erased.

Could you report the person you got the phone from on ebay for selling a dodgy phone and send it back to them.

Remember if it is a stolen phone and the original owner could claim it back.
