Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anybody else having this problem? The left and right audio when playing bioshock is switched around! Very distracting when listening for splicers coming, I usually end up looking the wrong way.

Is there an option on the xbox to reverse the stereo sound?

Probably a dumb question but how is your sound set up? 2.1 or 5.1? Are your cables in correctly?

2.1 just the red and white from the vga cable plugged into the back of the tv. They are in the right way.

Testing with headphones I see that it's all xbox games that're like this now.

Tried the playstation 3 in it (with the same connector) and it works fine. Looks like it's just the xbox, really weird.

Well if the stereo is reversed with the connections in right, try putting them in wrong.

    Ha, I wish.

Basically what I have is a HD tv with what it calls a "hd audio in" socket, which just seems to be a headphone jack really. So I have the cables from the xbox (the white and red) going into an adapter I got from peats which just joins them up into a headphone-type plug and then that goes in the tv. The adaptor doesn't distinguish between left and right inputs. And I use the same adaptor for the ps3 and wii.

I recently got a ring of death on my first xbox and only noticed this problem on the xbox they sent back recently, so maybe it's a problem with the xbox they sent back...

Maybe the adapter isn't suited – you could try another one or search online for others experenices with it on a 360.

Plug them into the adaptor the other way around. If it's to mini-jack then one if them will be designated left and the other right.
