    No, not on the Netopia itself. If your router is supported by OpenWrt or DD-Wrt, you can, I believe. But that would mean that you have a safe connection to the router itself (most common way is HTTP web page to modify settings on your router)

    But, I think you meant something different? What you mean is:
    Can I use SSH with an Netopia router? In that case, the answer is yes.

    SSH is a protocol and you need to run either a client (such as Putty) or a server on your home box (OpenSSH). The protocol uses port 22 by default, just open that port in your router.
