Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey I recently got some brushes in MAC and im just wondering what is the best way to store them??

    (Especially the foundation brush)

At the mo I have it wrapped in plastic and sealed when im not using it to stop the product drying it out and ruining the brush.

I was thinking about getting the mac brush cleaner... how often should i clean them??

    What does everyone think??

Don't bother buying the brush cleaner. Shampoo works grand. Wash your brushes once a week with a small amount of shampoo and luke warm water. And repeat til the product comes out. It works better to do it a few times with a small bit of shampoo. Let them air dry.

For storing them, putting them in a pot seems like a good idea. I don't know if keeping them in plastic is a good idea because bacteria might like the warm, damp atmosphere. Keeping them in the open air will be grand if you wash them once a week or even every fortnight. Also the plastic must get annoying after a while!

With the foundation brush, sometimes a lot of foundation will stay on it so maybe wipe it onto a towel before you use it, it will make it more soft. This should be washed weekly.
