Nick Hogan In Serious Car Accident

'NBC affiliate WFLA out of Tampa, FL is reporting that Nick was injured when a car he was driving "careened out of control and struck a palm tree in the median of the four lane highway" in Clearwater, FL. According to the story, he was traveling at a very high rate of speed. He and a passenger were airlifted to the Bayfront Medical Center in St. Petersburg.'

'Details are sketchy right now, but Nick Bollea aka Nick Hogan was in an auto accident in Downtown Clearwater, FL this evening around 7:30EST.

The passenger is in critical condition. Nick Hogan is in serious condition with a broken arm and head injuries.

Firefighters had to extract Bollea and his passenger, whose identity was not immediately released, from the wreckage. Both were flown to a hospital in nearby St. Petersburg, Florida, Shelor said.

"They're both down there. Nick's father is down there," he said.

Police said Bollea -- known to viewers as "Nick Hogan" -- was not as seriously hurt as his passenger, who was listed as critical.

"I will have this road closed for a minimum of four hours," he said. "It was a spectacular wreck." said the police chief.

WOW, i just got back from the hospital, hulks son nick and a friend named john were involved in a pretty bad car crash today around 730pm, i cant get into details, but myself and my attorney kevin haslett were the only ones allowed to be in the trama center with hulk. i can tell you this, nick left the hospital with me when we were leaving and is headed home to rest, he is ok, the other boy john, needs our prayers……….he is still in the hospital, thats all i can say at this point,

i came home and gave both julia and tyler kisses on the forehead while they were sleeping…………

terry needs our prayers….he is having a very tough time right now………

The only time I ever hear of Nick Hogan is when he crashes his car. Usually it happens when he's in a race, and this is what happens when you don't drive safely. He should have learned his lesson well before now. Hopefully his mate gets better

The jaws of life actually caused most of the damage on the top of the car. From the pictures i have seen there is no visible front or side impact damage.

All the major damage is to the rear of the car, Nick hogan is one lucky f**ker, had that been the front both guys would be dead on impact

I do sympatise with both boy's families for what they're going through at the moment! But I agree with MikeHoncho, there's is absolutely no need for a boy of that age to be driving such a car. Talk about power going to your head!

It was only a matter of time before this happened, Nick thinks he's invincible hopefully this will make him see sense. I hope the passenger recovers.
