Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi, I am working in the US right now and i am thinking of getting a Xbox over here but my question is, I know it can be connected to a computer that has media center installed but is it possible to just connect it to play on a computer screen independently. It being NTSC it wont play on Pal TVs back in Ireland. but its 100 dollars cheaper in the US!! Or what is my best option here?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

With the relatively high chance that you may have to use the warranty some day plus the hassle of game/dvd regions I don't know if it's worth the bother.

Yes. Most do it thru the VGA cable.

Did you mean NTSC? IIRC, most TVs made in the last few years wouldn't have such a problem.

Ah sorry, yes NTSC and corrected above.
So most new tvs you say can play both NTSC and Pal, really. I did not know this.

It wouldnt be a problem getting the games in NTSC online but the warrenty issue alright is one I would have to look into.
