I really dislike that Perez Hilton guy and I know it's possible that he's just a buddy of Luke, but I've had my suspicions for a while that Went was gay. The really good looking, nice ones always are :rolleyes:

Cremo, I'd normally agree with you but Luke McFarlane is openly gay (basically he's out) and Wentworth just doesn't ever seem to have a girlfriend in his life, so I think it's seems more likely than anything else.

So what I say, good luck to the pair of them if it's true !!

I know it's possible for a gay and straight guy to hang out, but all the evidence suggests that Went is hiding in the closet so as not to affect the show.

Does he have anything more concrete thana pic of the two of them walking down the road near each other? If thats all it takes then I'm pretty much gay. and I must be having gay orgies cos I walked down the road with 4 mates the other day.

Apparently he reported a few months back that they were "dating" from a very reliable source. That's generally how they do if over there before someone comes out. The suggestion is that he's keeping stum because he's been told that it will affect the show's rating. Something similar happened with Gray's Anatomy.

I dunno, but I've thought he might have been now for a while. He is never pictured with any girlfriends and I know that might just make him a private person, but none at all is a bit suspicious. I don't know the history with that guy, but he used to date a key character in Gray's Anatomy too, after he came out !

They could just be friends, but my gut feeling is that they are a couple.

He has previously denied that he was gay but after the Perez Hilton blog the rumours have resurfaced. It would certainly damage his standing in Hollywood in terms of future roles.
He can't win because if he 'comes out' his career will suffer and if he stays in the closet he will be accused of being ashamed of it or something.
Being photographed with someone who is openly gay is not the best way to quash the rumours though.

I honestly think he wants to come out. I mean, he's allegedly been seeing this guy for around 8 months, but has been careful not to be "snapped" with him. Perhaps he is just fed up and is gradually coming out ! This is the first step?

That's a nice idea but in Hollywood it's simply not workable. Coming out as gay usually spells the death-knell for an actor and it will probably spell the end for the show if Went comes out.

the reason is , if you watch him and sarah in prison break , thier is absoluteley no chemistry whatsoever
even a male and female couple are not dating of screen , the chemistry is often there to see

I like their on screen interaction, it is a bit understated and perhaps that leads to the seemingly lack of chemistry. However, I don't know if you've ever seen real life interviews with the pair? Their off screen chemistry is very strong. They clearly get on very well in real life.

Yeh, I heard this before and that they've been together for almost a year now. Obviously he is afraid the effect that this will have on his career.

In fairness, it's a bit obvious that he is gay. It stands out like a sore thumb. I'd say that if PB doesn't go for Season 4, you'll see him come out of the closet, but until PB ends, he's going to stay firmly in there !!

I seem to recall a survey done in the US which said that a majority of male movie-goers would be put off seeing a movie if they knew the lead actor was gay. That's the sad/pathetic atmosphere that leads to some actors repressing themselves and then others being speculated on because, y'know, too quiet must mean they're hiding.

That's pretty sad. As well as all the women going 'NO, he can't be!' Realistically speaking, none of us had a chance with him anyway!

He is indeed goodlooking, well I think many gays do! (That excludes george Michael and Elton John, who are really not my cup of tea *LOL*) Well, as long as he is happy, that should be all it matters. It should NOT be a reason to affect the series! There have been many people coming out and the results were mainly positive. Anyway, at the end of the day, he's still Wentworth Miller, who we love in our fave series and that counts!
