Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Windows Media Player question

Got a new PC recently, and when a song is playing on WMP, it almost always 'skips' for a second or two towards the end of the track.

It happens on both Ripped CD's and files I have copied over from my old PC.

The files themselves play ok on the old PC so its a mystery.

Anyone any ideas/tips as to what the problem may be?

    Thanks in advance.

    Vista Premium by the way...

Try media player classic home cinema and see if the audio skips in it as well.

In the control panel\sound section bring up the properties of your audio device and in one of the tabs should be a "disable all enhancements" box tick it and see if it makes any difference.
