    Muff tattoo obviously.

I don't think debbie is in snake bite anymore iirc. Though i do think they have a girl called denise as an apprentice there.

in my experience its the guys who usually do everything better, although if its a girl hat you definitely want its up to you

^ That's bull****, there's not as many women tattooists, but there's some ****ing awesome women tattooists out there. And from any women tattooists I've come across they've been pretty deadly, obviously some better then others but still talented and I'm not saying there's not some dodgy ones out there, but equally there's as many dodgy male artists. seeing as it's such a man orientated industry I've seen a lot more work that's been done by untalented male tattooists.

Was thinking that too at first but then thought about the level of discomfort while it heals and decided it was unlikely...

Hmm... can't think of any scientific reason why guys would be better, just a greater eagerness to inflict pain?

No, Debbie is gone a long time!

Denise is there quite a while now too, and she's pretty good from what I've seen!

Holy ****! What a crock of crap from whoever said guys do things better. My best work has been done by women. An no, its not a 'muff' tattoo (btw, do you have a gf? Does she really not cringe when you say muff? are you 14?)

I just want to support the few women working in a male dominated industry, thats all!

    Sisterhood and all.

actually... i think you and emmet are the only ones i have definitely pointed out as guys... had a few surprises with who the girls are... what about farohar?

  • Registered Users Posts: 4,057 ✭✭✭amazingemmet

(btw, do you have a gf?
No i just man whore it about at the moment as most will attest

Does she really not cringe when you say muff?
I've never come across slang that is universally acceptable to girls for their bits. Does abyone have one that will work, like if you use pussy for some girls its fine but others don't like it but will use muff and fanny is just to weird to use.
    are you 14?
    I'm 15, close guess though

    @narco
I think farohar is a girl though might be wrong

    *heads into loo to check*...
Ummm... gah! what's that squidgy bit there, or that bit...
    thiink that maayybee,
    I might just possiblyee,
    perhaps,
    could beee....

    *drumroll*

    male...

    :D:p
Sorry to disappoint if you were hoping for another girl on the forums.
Wonder do other people who only know me from on-line think I'm male or female...hmm...
Apparently Emmet thought I was one of the gals too...
Could it be the fact that I admitted a really low mancore score? Just never been inspired to get a piercing inspite of my tattoos, just don't seem "me".
Now this has me curious regarding if girls tend to have a different posting style or something... would be interesting to find out such things...
:) Meh, no harm, not as if they're going to try set me up with male friends or go into too much detail on womens' problems anyway so don't really care who they think I am.

And yup, have never come across a universally accepted slang for that either, even varies from person to person so don't think it's cultural... besides muff can't be that bad, there's the Muff Diving Club in Donegal and some of the euphamisms out there are much worse IMO.

Don't know if the girlie is still working there but I got done by a girlie Dragon Tattoo (Talbot street) a few years ago and she did a fairly good job. Don't know her name but she has a huge bird tattoo (eagle maybe) across her chest. It was a few years ago though so she might have moved on.

  • Registered Users Posts: 13,034 ✭✭✭✭It wasn't me!

Heh, based on the principle that everyone on the internet is a guy until otherwise proven, I was fairly sure farohar was a guy.

Oh, I am also male. :p

And as regards getting work done, get it done by someone who's particularly good at the style you want, regardless of their gender.

There is no Muff Diving School, that's just a running joke because of the little village near the border called Muff...

well, i was convinced bounty hunter and sarannewrap were guys, so it's hard to tell. i figured that cos i thought you were a guy... probably meant you were actually a girl :D

Well then rather then making statements like the one you made, maybe you should just put more time and effort into deciding who you let near you
