Not sure if its the newest, but tis cool anyway. Its actually a remix album, not a studio album per se. Tracks are remixed by the likes of Squarepusher, Autechre etc. Well worth checking out.

    Nice list.

    I think the following:
Colleen - Everybody Alive Wants Answers
    Devo - Freedom of Choice
    Calexico - Garden Ruin
Ahmad Jamal - Pavane for Ahmad
Clifford Brown - Clifford Brown Memorial
    Christian Kleine - Real Ghosts(vinyl)
Efterklang - Under Giant Trees(vinyl EP)
    John Coltrane - Crescent
    Squarepusher - Go Plastic!(vinyl)
    Dave Brubeck - Time Out!

The Kleine was a random buy, very good though. I'm surprised to see Squarepusher recurring in ppl's lists.

  • Registered Users Posts: 6,790 ✭✭✭cornbb

Squarepusher is a genius. Pure brilliance if you ask me. He excels in so many facets of music: drumming, bass/guitar, recording, production, programming, sampling, and the ability to write brilliant tunes. He can write great jazz, IDM and drum'n'bass among other things.

    Chromeo - Fancy Footwork
Boards of Canada - Music Has The Right To Children
Godflesh - In All Languages (Compilation album)
    Ulrich Schnauss - Goodbye
    Plastikman - Consumed
    Manuel Göttsching - E2-E4
    Klaus Schulze - Timewind
    Yello - The Flag
New Order - Substance (Compilation album)
The Jesus & Mary Chain - Psychocandy

Yello was worth the price of admission for The Race alone, god what a song :) Mostly old albums in this list...hmm...a bad habit :)
