    Heading to galway with gf for a few days today, just wondering what there is to do there during the week, late bars mad stuff etc? any recommendations?

    Nothing. Its really boring here. You should go to Mullingar instead... :D

    Seriously though, do a search, there are quite a few threads about bars and clubs, restaurants, etc
    For daytime, definitely visit the aquarium in Salthill. Boat trip on the Corrib from Wood Quay. Galway City Museum. Pint on Quay St and watch the crowds go by. Take a drive out to Connemara or down to the Burren. Day trip to Aran Islands. Loads to do...

    and don't know how to spend Your time.
    this will result in you getting plenty of suggestions and loads of hours will
    pass while more and more of his mates make more and more suggestions:)
