Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All

Hopefully I am posting in the correct forum.

My company will soon be setting up a web shop. We are going to use a sub domain off our main domain name eg shop.ourdomain.ie.

How can I get it to be a www.shop.ourdomain.ie rather than shop.ourdomain.ie as it seems to be at present?

Might be a silly question, but please advise.

    Many thanks
    Paddyo

    Contact your hosting provider.

It's simply a matter of creating an extra DNS record and rejigging the server config slightly

If you have an SSL cert this will complicate matters...

    Hi BlackKnight

I dont have the SSL cert yet - but I am about to get one.

I have the extra DNS record for shop.ourdomain.ie and it is pointing to the correct ip address. Do I specify www where I setup the extra DNS?

    Many thanks for your assistance

I'd honestly recommend you contact your hosting provider, as I have no idea of what you are using or have access to.
