Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just download the latest version of PC Suite from nokia.ie. There is a relatively new feature which allows you to upgrade the firmware on your handset. Not sure if it will allow you to upgrade the firmware if the handset is blocked though.

You could ring the Telephone Centre on Dawson St 01-6776655, they are a nokia repair centre and will probably be able to give you a yes/no answer if it will work. If you ring MPRC they will just tell you to send it in to them.

    Thanks I'll try that

Edit: unfortunately 6230 not supported on Nokia site.

It isn't possible to update the firmware yourself on these phones, you need special software which comes with a hardware dongle, plus a special FBUS cable for the phone itself.

Also updating the firmware will not unlock you phone, however the same software can unlocked it for you.

If you're around Dublin or Wicklow can do it for you
