Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Changing microSD memory on Nokia 6110 Navigator

Hi there, wonder if anyone has tried swapping out the meagre 512MB microSD card that is shipped with the Nokia 6110 Navigator for a larger (say) 2GB one.....

Heard that the Route66 maps are stored on the 512MB microSD, but using the FileManager, I don't seem to be able to locate the file(s). I think they are there....287MB is in use on the card, 200MB free, and yet I see about 7MB or so in files.

I haven't tried this out yet, but I suspect I need to copy whatever there is on the 512MB (hidden or seen) to the 2GB replacement first.....Has anyone attempted this?

Sorted. Simply hook up the USB connector to a computer (I use a Mac), drag-n-drop all files on the microSD to the desktop, replace the card and do another drag-n-drop onto the 2GB microSD.

Anyone tried a 4GB microSD card?

Where did you get the 6110 from,

I have one too, installed a 2gb card, and use the Nokia maps application, because I couldn't be bothered paying for the route66 licences.

Didn't do a copy across from the 512 card so the route66 has no licences on it.
