Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Available here- http://www.silvervision.co.uk/product.asp?pf_id=WWE1139&recno=6

I just thought I'd give it a plug since I bought it last week. It's one of the best WWE bio dvd's they've done.

I really liked the documentary on him because they used a load of people outside the wrestling business to tell his story. Also, another great thing about the dvd is that it seemed to have no agenda unlike other WWE dvd's (Vince's, Warriors even Bret's etc...)

They just told his story, the good and the bad and to see his kids at the end of it saying how they wish they could remember him was very un-WWE like. That's just 1 example of many.

And to top it all off, when he was healthy, he was very good in the ring, not to mention how compelling he could be on the mic. I was watching him and I thought of how big a feud between him and Cena could have been if he was just coming up today.

As good as Edge is, Pillman to be me could walk right in 2007 and be a top bad guy. He truly lived his character, to fans benefit and probably to his detriment.

There's a whole load of things I could say about the dvd but on the whole I'd really recommend it to people that know a little and alot about him.

    Has anyone else seen it?

Have it and while it is a great production, the fact that they left out one of his best friends, Barry Windham out of the DVD is almost a crime. I also found it a little disturbing that WWE have his wedding footage as well. But at least the documentary part of it was concise. Probably the best documentary they did since the Rise and Fall of ECW.

Definitely worth the plug, especially for the WCW matches. As Brian's WWE career really doesn't do him justice at all. He was a shell of his former self after his biking accident but some of the stuff he did in WCW in 92-93, especially his feuds with Jushin Liger and Tom Zenk was unreal.

    VR!

he was years ahead of his time compared to what most guys were doing in those days, great character too,so glad they put the canadian stampede main event on the match, one of the best ppv main events of all time

Not opnly that but Mark Madden the WCW commentator was extreamly close to Pillman also and he was never asked to do anything. Dave Meltzer was also close but that was never going to happen .

And pretty much the only good match of Pillmans WWE career! :(

I watched the documentary part of this a few months ago, I enjoyed it. I really liked Pillman, it's a pity what happened with him

thanks vince.Il definitley be checking this dvd out.Brian pillman was certainly a wrestler that died long before his time was up.I really would have loved to see him still alive and in the wrestling industry today. His death was a tragedy like so many others in the wrestling business. His run in WCW so much better than in WWF.I would advise anyone that didn't see any of his stuff in WCW to check it out.
